Bollards
LED Bollards are a versatile and stylish way to illuminate outdoor spaces. Bollard lighting is perfect for lining parks, walkways, and pathways. Bollards can also be used to accentuate architectural features or create a welcoming ambiance around the space. LED bollard lighting is another energy-efficient option when compared with outdated solutions. LED luminaires last much longer than traditional incandescent lamps and tubes, and they often use up to 70-80% less energy. This means that LED bollard lights can save money on energy bills and overall consumption over time. In addition to being energy-efficient, LED bollard lights are also very durable. They are made from weather-resistant materials that can withstand the elements. Tamlite bollard solutions are IP65 rated – meaning their bodies provide protection from low-pressure water jets from any direction. This is suitable for most outdoor enclosures that will not encounter any extreme weather such as full water submersion. This makes them a great choice for use in outdoor applications. Read More ...
What does our Bollard range offer?
Our outdoor bollard lighting is available in two styles and multiple finishes to match your project brief and architectural style. You can choose from a traditional design with the CITY BL or a more modern style with the CITY PATH Range. The CITY PATH bollards can be specified with either a T4 area optic or a T5 360° Area Optic.
T4 Optic – The T4 optic offers a 180-degree distribution. This optic is used for illuminating pathways and perimeter areas of carparks to reduce light spill.
T5 Optic – the T5 optic offers a 360-degree distribution. This optic is used for illumination open spaces such as courtyards. This optic is also ideal for illuminating both carpark spaces and pathways simultaneously.
Both LED Bollard solutions are ideal for pedestrian areas as they provide most urban and exterior application spaces with the right light coverage.
Urban Lighting
A high-quality urban lighting design creates a balance between light and darkness. It focuses the light without turning the light sources into glare points. A well-designed urban lighting system can significantly reduce night crime, ensure safe navigation through the outdoor space, and create stunning architectural effects. It does all of this while making a conscious effort to reduce light pollution. A well-spaced solution, using quality luminaires, can illuminate the whole area while keeping the light only where it needs to be.
Dark Sky
Tamlite urban luminaires are at the forefront of the Dark Sky movement. Meticulously crafted to minimise unnecessary upward illumination and glare, these luminaires play a pivotal role in safeguarding our local wildlife and reducing light pollution for the surrounding environment. With Tamlite's commitment to creating the ideal exterior environment at night, we can revel in the beauty of the night sky while preserving the delicate balance of nature.
With the CITY PATH now Dark Sky approved, we are looking to help illuminate the world with responsible choices, ensuring a brighter and greener tomorrow for generations to come.
